Dan & Jessica {Krause Springs Engagement Session}

Jessica and Dan have been dating for several years.  After they got engaged and set a date for the wedding, they contacted me about doing an engagement session.  Since they both live in the Hill Country and their wedding is taking place at a ranch in Burnett, TX, we knew that we wanted the setting for their engagement pictures to be somewhere in nature.  After some checking around, we decided on Krause Springs.

I had never been before, so I only had word of mouth and a few Google pictures to go on.  I hoped and  prayed that it would be pretty enough to do their pictures justice.  I was completely awestruck by the natural beauty of this location.

Dan jokingly told me at the beginning of the session that he didn't really like to smile for pictures so we needed to "hurry" the process along.  This started a joke that progressed through the whole session where I would make them and laugh and then chide him for "wasting" one of his precious session smiles.

They are a beautiful couple, inside and out, and I cannot wait to photograph their big day in July.
